A dynamic performer since her teenage years, Simone’s background spans across commercials, music videos, and dance genres including hip-hop, ballet, and jazz. Now devoted to the art of burlesque, she has become known for her ability to connect with audiences—her performances are sensual, intimate, and, of course, full of tease. Dubbed “Simmering” by L.A.'s Godmother of burlesque  Lili VonSchtupp, Simone’s signature style blends classic glamour with irresistible charm.

 

As one of the few Black burlesque performers in Los Angeles, Simone played a pivotal role in expanding the scene to diverse audiences. In 2012, she founded Boudoir Burlesque, a monthly show at Karma Lounge that ran for six successful years, featuring both renowned and first-time performers. In 2016, she joined the Hollywood Burlesque Festival as an Associate Producer and later co-founded Insatiable Entertainment, bringing burlesque theater productions to San Pedro, including a show headlined by the legendary Satan’s Angel. She was crowned 2016 Ambassador Queen of Bronze Beauties of Burlesque by Poison Ivory, the 2016 Queen of Burlesque.

Simone’s performances have graced iconic venues such as House of Blues on the Sunset Strip, El Cid in Hollywood, Monday Night Tease at 3 Clubs, and San Francisco’s DNA Lounge. As resident performer at Seduction at Harvelle’s Long Beach, her presence in the scene has been nothing short of magnetic. In 2018, she performed in a three-week revue at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in South Australia.

After relocating to New Orleans in 2021, Simone quickly made her mark, performing at The Orpheum, The Fillmore, The Joy, Virgin Hotel NOLA, Tipitina’s, and The Allways Lounge, among others. She is a cast member of Fleur de Tease, New Orleans’ longest-running burlesque company. She is part of a rotating cast in The Van Ella Bordella, a burlesque musical about the city’s Storyville era. She also regularly shares the stage with New Orleans' top-tier musicians at Mahogany Jazz Hall.

In 2022, she was awarded the Biggest Tease award at the Oregon Burlesque Festival and has since headlined shows in Denver and Atlanta while mentoring rising Black performers. She has been a featured performed on The Big Easy cruise line since 2023.

 

Simone was honored to perform at the 28th Annual Viva Las Vegas Burlesque Showcase in 2025, The Legend Era. She paid tribute to Tarza Young and Gertrude "Baby" Banks from the 1949 film Burlesque in Harlem. That same year, she was a dancer for

Big Sam's Funky Nation at New Orleans' world-famous  JazzFest. Both dreams were on her dance career bucket list.

Her talent extends beyond the stage—Simone has been featured in multiple modeling campaigns, including for Naughty Girl Shop, Trashy Diva, Weasel Wear and Dark Garden Corsetry.
